About this blog

This blog offers a platform for dissenting views and counter information relating to the campaign for Lokpal – anti corruption watch dog in India. Various strands of opinion drawn from the experience of activists in a variety of social justice movements in India – including those fighting for the rights of dalits, adivasis, workers, women and minorities – are missing from the one-size-fits-all super-law pushed for by the high spectacle ‘India Against Corruption’ campaign. Views and news gathered here are intended to provide a critical insight and to promote an understanding of substantive issues. The views compiled on this blog are those of the authors of those views and not of the people maintaining the blog or compiling them. We hope you will visit the blog, add links, leave comments here.
